REVEAL — Panel Wipe / Surface Prep Solvent

REVEAL is D-TAIL LAB’s fast-flashing panel wipe engineered to remove polishing oils, fillers, and residue before coatings or sealants. It promotes a clean, high-energy surface so protection layers can bond properly.

What REVEAL Does

Dissolves and lifts compound/polish lubricants, silicone, and light shop residues from paint and glass, leaving a crisp, streak-free finish ready for ceramic coatings, sealants, or waxes.

Why You Need REVEAL

• True-bond prep — clears oils and fillers that can hinder coating adhesion.
• Fast, clean flash — wipes off without smearing when used correctly.
• Detailer-friendly — ideal between correction steps and final inspections.

Where to Use It

• Clear-coated paint and clear bra/PPF (spot test first)
• Exterior glass and gloss plastics
• Door jambs and polished metal trims (test first)

Directions

1. Prep first: Wash, decontaminate (iron remover + clay), and complete any compounding/polishing.
2. Work on a cool, shaded surface. Shake well.
3. Spray lightly onto a clean edgeless microfiber (avoid soaking) or mist the panel sparingly.
4. Wipe a small section (≈ 40 cm × 40 cm / 16" × 16") with gentle, overlapping passes.
5. Immediately flip to a dry side (or a second towel) and buff until perfectly clear.
6. Inspect under strong lighting. Repeat if any haze or residue remains, then proceed with your coating/sealant.

Compatibility & Care

• Do not use on hot panels or in direct sun. Do not allow to dry without a final buff.
• Always test on sensitive trims, matte/satin finishes, and fresh resprays.
• For interior use: not recommended on tinted instrument clusters or soft-touch plastics.

Good to Know

Panel cleanliness directly impacts coating longevity. If you see rainbowing or smearing, switch to a fresh towel and reduce product load.
